Grand Chase PH Server Shutdown

Many players were caught off guard when Grand Chase PH officially announced server shutdown yesterday, October 20,2014. According to the article they released on their official website, Level Up! Games PH - the publisher of the game in the country has decided to close the GCPH server due to circumstances beyond their control. The game server will shutdown on November 17,2014 at 3pm.

Grand Chase is a free-to-play 2.5D massively multiplayer online role-playing game  (MMORPG) developed by a South Korean company named KOG Studios. It was officially released in the Philippines on the 4th of November 2008. Due to its straightforward side-scrolling interface,  great story, cute graphics, as well as the clever and thrilling strategic PVP system , Grand Chase became one of the successful games by 2009. 

GCPH Facebook page got flooded by various reactions from its players.  Most of them couldn't disguise their disappointments and grief after learning the bad news.

As a sign of acknowledgement, Level Up! Games PH arranged a Welcome Package for active players who wanted to try Audition PH which is one of their games. Some information such as links and dates regarding the migration process are yet to be announced.
